Please allow us the opportunity to introduce Independence High School. As you know there is a tremendous need to reach our kids at the high school level, to keep them in school, to increase their interest, learning abilities, social skills, values, and do what we can as educators to engage them with the tools that they need to be successful in life.
We will be engaging a participatory style of educating where students, teachers, staff, the students’ parents, and community leaders are all involved in a primary purpose of instilling basic assets to living life successfully through learning. Whether it is a work-study program, one of our trade classes, our highly collaborative student involved discussion based lessons or study programs, Independence High will provide the highest quality of education possible, creating a holistic learning environment respecting the needs and development of the “whole” person/student, committed to embracing learning throughout their lives.
